Welcome! Here's everything you need to know before your first class at KUWA.
You're in Good Hands
All our classes are designed for mixed abilities. Our expert instructors will guide you through every movement, ensuring you feel confident and supported.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so your instructor can welcome you, show you around the studio, and introduce you to the equipment.
Grip socks are required for all classes for safety and hygiene. If you don't have a pair, we have them available to purchase at the studio.
Both offer incredible benefits! Mat Pilates builds core stability and body awareness using your bodyweight. Reformer Pilates adds resistance and support, making movements more accessible for beginners and more challenging as you progress.
Yes! All our classes are designed for mixed abilities. Our instructors provide modifications and progressions so everyone can work at their own level. You'll never feel out of place.
Wear comfortable, fitted activewear that allows freedom of movement. Form-fitting clothes let your instructor see your alignment. Grip socks are required and available at reception. Avoid dangling jewellery.
Not at all! We provide all equipment including mats. Just bring yourself, water, and grip socks!
Classes run for around 50 minutes—time for a proper warm-up, challenging workout, and cool-down stretch. Arrive 5-10 minutes early for your first session.
Please get clearance from your doctor before joining classes. Several of our instructors are clinically trained and can guide you safely, adapting movements for your recovery.
Absolutely! It's natural to feel nervous. Our studio is a welcoming, judgement-free space. Our instructors will take extra care to make you feel comfortable. Many of our most dedicated members started with the same nerves!
Managing Your Sessions
Everything about booking, cancelling, and getting the most from your classes.
Use our online booking system or the Kuwa Pilates app. Select your preferred session and pay, or book from your account balance if you're a member or pass holder.
Open the Kuwa Pilates app, go to Bookings, and select Cancel. Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance to keep your class credit.
Yes! New clients can use our Welcome Offer—3 classes for a special introductory price. Some memberships include guest passes too.
For safety reasons, we cannot admit anyone more than 5 minutes after class starts. Call us if you're running late and we'll advise.
Our schedule is released 7 days in advance. Some membership tiers have advance booking privileges—check your membership benefits.

Email info@kuwapilates.co.uk. A minimum of 3 months active membership is required before pausing or cancelling, with at least 2 weeks notice.
Going on holiday? We can pause your membership for up to 4 weeks.
Class Packs: Credits are valid for the full expiry period (2-12 months depending on pack).
Memberships: Unused credits are not carried over to the following month.
Yes! Email us at info@kuwapilates.co.uk. Upgrades process immediately; downgrades take effect from your next billing cycle.
Memberships: Lower per-class cost, guest passes per month, priority workshop access, exclusive partner discounts, first access to Kuwa events and offers.
Class Packs: More flexibility, no ongoing commitment, use classes within the validity period.
Our Space
Everything about our studio, parking, and what to expect when you arrive.
Street parking is available nearby with pay-and-display or pay-by-phone options. Allow extra time during peak hours. We're also accessible by public transport.
Yes! We have clean, well-maintained changing facilities with storage compartments and toilets available for your convenience.
We have a filtered water station—bring a reusable bottle to stay hydrated during your session!
Yes! Available at the studio or online. Choose a specific class pack or monetary value. Email info@kuwapilates.co.uk for details.
Early morning to evening, Monday to Sunday. Check our timetable or the Kuwa Pilates app for the latest schedule.
